Authorities are investigating after a 16-year-old boy is dead following a shootout at a massive house party in Northborough, Massachusetts, early Sunday morning. According to report, another teenager sustained a gun shot wound as a result of the incident.
According to report, three people were arrested. The 16-year-old, from Bellingham, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Multiple people were also injured due to the incident.
Officers responded to the scene after a person flagged down officers and reported someone brandishing a firearm near the home.
A 17-year-old was shot and has since been released from the hospital, Early said, and two other people were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Other people with injuries refused to be treated at the scene.
The three people arrested are facing firearm charges, according to Early.
