Law enforcement officials are responding to report of shooting that happened early this morning in Bridgeview, Illinois. The incident occurred on Wednesday May 15, 2024 on 79th and Oketo, across from the Oremus Center.
The school sent out a text saying police incident with no threat to anybody else. The Street has been blocked and lots of activity is currently ongoing. There’s a helicopter circling around as well.
Investigators are working to determine exactly what happened. Dispatch officials say more details are expected to be released later today.
