Flagstaff Police Department are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Flagstaff today. The shooting occurred in the area of Bushmaster Park, 3150 N Alta Vista Dr. Officers responded to the area after they received report of shooting.
According to the police, witnesses in the area described the individual shooting the handgun as a slim build Native American male approximately 20-30 years old wearing all black and possibly having a tattoo on his arms.
No injuries were reported at Bushmaster Park. Law enforcement personnel are actively following up on leads and searching for the individual who was reported to have fled in a north to west direction from Bushmaster Park after the shooting.
