There is heavy police presence on the campus of Kennesaw State University following report of an armed intruder. Those on campus have been asked to seek shelter until further notice.
According to Kennesaw State officials, a female student was fatally shot on campus,” the school said in an alert on its website. “A suspect has been detained.”
The school added: “There is no threat to the campus community. Kennesaw State University Police are working with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and we will provide updated information once it becomes available.”
