The family of the female student who was shot and killed on Kennesaw State University’s campus on Saturday identified her as 21-year-old Alasia Franklin. Alasia was shot and killed following an altercation, which occurred in front of the Austin Residence Complex on the Kennesaw Campus on Saturday afternoon.
Franklin, a junior, was not only a member of KSU’s Student Government Association, but she also held a leadership position. They also confirmed Samuel Harris, a Cairo man in his early 20s, as the suspect.
