Owasso officers are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide in an Owasso neighborhood. The tragic incident occurred Just before 2pm on Friday in the area of 11400 N 131 E AVE.
Owasso officers responded to the scene for two people found deceased inside a residence. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed that 1 adult male and 1 adult female were inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.
According to Owasso Police Department, the scene was secured and once a search warrant is obtained, detectives will begin processing. This investigation is in its very early stages, so we will not be releasing details for some time. Initial findings suggest that this was a domestic-related incident and investigators are not actively seeking a suspect or anyone else that might be a threat to the community at this time.
