25-year-old David Williams of Charleston was identified by the Charleston County Coroner’s Office as the victim of a fatal shooting at a community park Monday morning. According to the Charleston Police Department (CPD), Williams, the shooting occurred on June 10 at near the park’s playground.
David died of a gunshot wound on the scene of South Street, according to the coroner’s office.
The homicide is under investigation by the CPD.
