Anthony Williams has sadly passed away. The news of his death was shared online. Anthony’s death was confirmed on Peace Corps Belize Facebook page –
“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Anthony Williams, who passed away today.
We will all miss him more than words can express. He was not just our co-worker but an inspiration to serve. In his role of General Services Manager he exemplified service in daily tasks. For staff members, he would go the extra mile to achieve PC/Belize’s vision. For volunteers, he would be willing to help them navigate a new home.
For all who knew him during his 36 years of service to PC/Belize he was in some way the one to lend a helping hand. His favorite quote included in his work emails was
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
Mahatma Gandhi. PC/Belize has learnt many things from you Anthony. Rest in perfect peace.”
Anthony’s cause of death is yet to be officially announced as at this time. Details regarding the cause of her death will be disclosed when it becomes available.
