David Allan Bretherton has sadly passed away. David died in Wigan hospital surrounded by loved ones. The news of his passing was shared on WN3 Angling and conservation Facebook page. It reads – “I’m sure many of you know David Allan Bretherton from over the flashes, local photographer and rescuer of swans. He’s been ill for a few weeks and has sadly just passed away.”
