62-year-old Hector Rena has sadly passed away. Hector died after being hit by an 18-wheeler along a Southwest Side highway in San Antonio. The crash occurred at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday along Southeast Loop 410 near East Southcross.
Hector was pronounced dead at the scene.The highway is closed for the next several hours for cleanup and investigation.
