36-year-old William Curry Sprinkle Jr. of Pinnacle North Carolina was identified as the person killed in Pilot Mountain shooting. The shooting occurred On Tuesday, July 30th on 800 W. Main Street. Officers responded to the area for a shooting report, upon arrival, William was found suffering from gunshot wound to the chest.
William was pronounced dead on scene. Investigation into the incident is ongoing. Further details will be made available when it becomes available.
