Mark Johnson Jr., 26, of Gonzales has sadly passed away. Mark died after shooting in inside of his Ascension Parish apartment overnight. The shooting occurred at an apartment complex along Highway 44 in Gonzales around 1 a.m Thursday, Aug. 1.
Police officers responded to the scene and found a man dead from multiple apparent gunshot wounds. Detectives are investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
