Multiple law enforcement officials are responding to report of shooting on a Greater Richmond Transit Company (GRTC) bus in downtown Richmond on Thursday.
The shooting occurred Thursday afternoon August 1, 2024 on a GRTC bus at the intersection of East Leigh Street and North 11th Street.
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Police are currently at the scene and they urge people to avoid the area.
Police have released no information about victims or possible suspects as of the time of reporting.
