49-year-old Kirk Urban died following a fatal shooting on Hobbs Island Road. The shooting occurred on Sunday, August 4 around 9:45 a.m in the 1200 block of Hobbs Island Road. Kirk was found with apparent gunshot to his abdomen.
Urban was pronounced dead at Huntsville Hospital’s trauma center. According to report, Urban was in a verbal argument with a middle-aged white male when shots were fired.
