A 24-year-old Robert Trusty III has sadly passed away. Robert was identified as the person fatally shot in Vero Beach. The shooting occurred in the area of 3100 43rd Street at 8:50 p.m. on Thursday. Multiple law enforcement officials responded to the area for a shooting report.
Officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim with apparent gunshot wound. Robert was pronounced dead in the hosptal.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident to determine the motives and the events leading up to the shooting.
