Family members identified the man who died after shooting in Azusa as 27-year-old Peter Maldonado. The incident occurred Friday morning in the 200 block of N. San Gabriel Avenue, just north of the 210 Freeway.
According to report, Peter was found suffering with apparent gunshot wound inside of a car riddled with bullet. Responding officers pronounced him dead shortly after arrival.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident to determine the motives and the events leading up to the shooting.
