Antoine M. Byers Jr., former student of the Steelton-Highspire School District has sadly passed away. Antoine died following a shootout in Harrisburg on August 12. Antoine recently graduated from the Steelton-Highspire School District this past spring.
The shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. Monday August 12, 2024 on Regina Street in Harrisburg.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting. Condolences are with the family of the deceased. We will keep you updated when further information on service and memorial becomes available.
