A 62-year-old Donalda Ferreira has sadly passed away. Donalda died after being struck by a vehicle in Fall River on Friday night. The accident occurred Friday on President Avenue around 9:06 p.m.
According to report, Donalda was attempting to cross the street when a car struck her. The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office identified the driver as a 42-year-old Fall River woman.
Ferreira was brought to Charlton Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. An investigation by the DA’s office is underway.
Police are currently investigating. Further details regarding the cause of her death will be disclosed when it becomes available.
