Jack Poole, Arkansas Tech University student has sadly passed away. Jack died at ae 19 following an accidental shooting. The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, Aug. 17, at an off-campus residence in Russellville.
Poole resident of Hattieville and a 2023 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Morrilton. He was a sophomore at ATU and had declared nursing as his major field of study.
An investigation into the homicide is active and ongoing. Further details regarding the cause of his death will be disclosed when it becomes available.
