A 26-year-old Nicholas Miller of Bridgewater has sadly passed away. Nicholas died in an overnight shooting in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The shooting occurred earlier Saturday in the area of 36 Acushnet Avenue.
Police officers responded to the scene after they received report of males fighting and shot fired. Upon arrival, officers found Nicholas suffering from apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation into the homicide is active and ongoing. Further details regarding the cause of his death will be disclosed when it becomes available.
