66-year-old Peter Lancho of Greenbackville has sadly passed away. Peter died in a fatal hit-and run accident. The accident occurred around 11:44 p.m. Saturday, at the intersection of Lankford Highway and Main Street in the Melfa area of Accomack County.
Police on Virginia’s Eastern Shore responded to the scene following report of the accident. Peter was pronounced dead at the scene.
