20-year-old Geano Chavez has sadly passed away. Geano died in a weekend shooting at a Jefferson County cemetery. The shooting occurred at Crown Hill Cemetery, near 29th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard.
Officers responded to the scene after they received report of a brawl that resulted into shooting.
An investigation into the homicide is active and ongoing. Further details regarding the cause of his death will be disclosed when it becomes available.
