An off-duty NYPD officers has sadly passed away. He was found dead with apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound inside an upper Manhattan apartment on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased NYPD officer worked in the 30th Precinct in Hamilton Heights. Prior to the incident he had parked his car near an apartment building on West 186th Street in Fort George.
The investigation is ongoing. Our prayers and condolence are with the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
