Piscataqua Bridge shooting – 37-year-old Trent Weston was identified as the man fatally shot by state troopers on the Piscataqua River Bridge early Thursday morning. Trent reportedly killed his wife and 8-year-old son before police shot him to death Thursday morning on the I-95 Piscataqua River Bridge.
Law enforcement officials were deployed to the couple’s apartment located at 359 Monadnock St. in Troy at about 3 a.m. after being notified about the call Trent Weston made to the York Police Department.
Trent wife, Brittany Weston was found dead inside the apartment on Monadnock Street and the couple’s young son, who was found dead in his father’s vehicle.
Officers discovered Trent Weston’s truck parked in the center of the Piscataqua River Bridge. Brittany Weston’s autopsy was performed today by the Chief Medical Examiner, who ruled that her cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds and her manner of death was homicide.
The incident remains under investigation.
