legendary pirate, Captain Tom Mason of the Blue Buccaneers has sadly passed away. The news of his passing was shared on social media by loved ones. Tom was a talented guitarist, singer, songwriter, and actor. He was best know for his pirate band, Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers.
International Pirate Hall of Fame shared “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of 2023 International Pirate Hall of Fame inductee, Tom Mason. Tom passed away last night peacefully at home after a valiant fight against cancer.
Everyone at the Hall of Fame is devasted with this news and we send our condolences to his wife, Whitney, and all his family, friends, and fans from around the world.
Tom Mason was the first musician to be inducted into the International Pirate Hall of Fame, and that along with his music will continue to keep him in our hearts and minds forever.”
