29-year-old Ismael Ouedraogo,Fort Riley soldier has sadly passed away. Ismael died following a a drowning at Milford Lake in Geary County. The incident occurred g near the south boat ramp and swim beach area in Milford State Park.
Emergency services were called to the scene regarding the incident. Ouedraogo was recovered by bystanders after approximately 10 minutes. Ismael was pronounced dead after all effort to save him failed.
