37-year-old Avelino Recardo Sanchez has sadly passed away. Avelino died following a fatal shooting on Rubidoux Boulevard. The shooting occurred September 3 in the 2900 block of Rubidoux Boulevard.
Officers responded to the scene for a shooting report. Officers found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wound. Avelino was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
