Dennis Sweet, 66, of Newmarket has sadly passed away. Dennis died after being stabbed in Newmarket. The incident occurred on Monday in an apartment complex in the Timothy and Prospect Streets area.
Police officers were deployed to the area for a welfare check. Offcers arrived at the scene and found a man with apparent stab wounds.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed. Dennis was pronounced dead at the scene. 56-year-old Philip Rulli, 56, was charged with second-degree murder on Monday.
