Multiple law enforcement officials are responding to report of an alleged active shooter situation in Fort Bliss. The incident occurred Friday September 6 at Mendoza Clinic in Fort Bliss.
U.S. Army Fort Bliss released a statement – “There is currently police activity in the vicinity of the Mendoza Clinic on Fort Bliss.
There is no threat to the Fort Bliss community at this time, but we ask Soldiers and families to avoid the area until further notice.
We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
There’s been no word from authorities on what exactly happened during this incident. Investigators are working to determine exactly what happened.
