Former Clemson WR Diondre Overton has reportedly passed away due to a shooting that occurred last night. The shooting occurred Friday night in Greensboro.
On Saturday morning, several former Tigers players began posting tributes to Diondre Overton, who played wide receiver for CU from 2016-19.
Clemson Chris shared – “Heartbroken and I wanted to wait to post this but last night Clemson Family lost former Tiger Diondre Overton in a shooting in Greensboro.
Please Pray for the Overton Family and our Clemson Family during this tragic time.”
