Law enforcement officials in Broomfield are responding to report of an active shooter situation at an apartment complex. The incident occurred Thursday at the Arista Flats apartments at 8200 Arista Place, east of Wadsworth Parkway.
Just before 8 a.m. Thursday, the Broomfield Police Department were deployed to the area for a shooting report. Police stated that the surrounding neighborhood is not safe, describing it as “a very dangerous scene.” Officers report that shots continue to be fired in the neighborhood.
