Authorities are investigating after one person was injured in a shooting on N. Sprigg Street in Cape Girardeau. Law enforcement officials and emergency crews responded to the area for s shooting report.
According to Cape Girardeau Police Department’s Interim Chief Adam Glueck, one adult victim was shot in the leg and is being taken to a local hospital.
Officers are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
