Jalen Easterling has sadly passed away. Jalen died in a shooting Thursday night during a party she was throwing for her 6-year-old. The shooting occurred at a house on Locksley Road, in a neighborhood near the intersection of Wayside Drive and Tidwell Road.
According to report, Easterling and her new boyfriend were celebrating a birthday party for her child the father of the child showed up and an argument escalated to shot being fired.
Easterling was shot in front of her children, boyfriend and others. She was pronounced dead on scene.
