Scott Decker, a 50-year-old resident of Orinda and Truckee has sadly passed away. Decker died after a fatal shooting in Orinda on Thursday. The shooting occurred in the area of Las Vegas Road and La Espiral shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday.
Officers detained another individual at the scene who has only been identified as an Orinda resident. The investigation is ongoing. Our prayers and condolence are with the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
