Robert Carnochan obituary – Conductor of the Frost Wind Ensemble at Frost School of Music has died

Robert Carnochan, Conductor of the Frost Wind Ensemble at Frost School of Music at the University of Miami has sadly passed away. The news of his death was shared on social media by friends and loved ones.

Robert touched many lives in the most heartfelt way. He will be missed by all. Details regarding the cause of her death will be disclosed when it becomes available. Robert received the Phillip Frost Award for Excellence in Teaching and Scholarship three just three weeks ago.,  the Frost School of Music’s highest honor.

Matthew Mireles shared in a post on Fcebook – “Totally shocked by the news of Robert Carnochan’s passing. I met Rob at the UT Conducting Symposium in 2015, and he’s been a mentor and inspiration to me ever since. I was never officially his student, but he still took the time to kept in touch about music and F1. I’m going to miss you greatly my friend.”
