13-year-old Alaysia Smith, a student and cheerleader at Wissahickon Charter School – Fernhill campus, in Philadelphia has unexpectedly passed away. Alaysia died following a shooting inside North Philly house. The shooting occurred on on September 18, 2024, at a house on the 2800 block of North Bailey Street.
Emergency service responded to the scene for a shooting report. Alaysia was found suffering from apparent gunshot wound. Alaysia was transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
