Demaris Martinez was identified as the victim who died after being struck early Saturday morning while attempting to cross Route 17 in Paramus.
Authorities responded to the scene on a report of accident.
Demaris was attempting to cross the road when she was hit a vehicle and then a tractor-trailer.This investigation is actively ongoing.
