Authorities are investigating after a retired NYPD detective Sean O’Neill fatally shot his wife, Arlene then turned the gun on himself in a murder-suicide. According to report, the three children were home when the incident occurred on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at 142 Chittenden Avenue at around before 7 a.m. Wednesday morning. Arlene was a fifth-grade teacher in Eastchester. A preliminary investigation revealed an altercation between the couples escalated and led to Sean O’Neill shooting Arlene and then turning the gun on himself.
