Willmar shooting investigation : Authorities are investigating after one person was injured and another dead following a shooting in Minneapolis early this afternoon. The suspect allegedly shot the victim in the chest and stole a vehicle near 150th St. NE. & Hwy. 7 in Lake Lillian and fled in the vehicle.
CPR was started on the gunshot victim at the scene and was flown to the hospital.
The suspect was taken into custody around 2:35 p.m. near Highway 23 and Highway 71. According to sources, the gunshot victim near Highways 23 and 71 was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officers are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
