45-year-old Rebecca Geiger, who was a teacher at Westside High School has sadly passed away. Rebecca died following an officer-involved shooting that left 2 people dead in Sarpy County.The tragic incident occurred near 143rd Street and Meadows Parkway just before 3 a.m. Monday morning.
Multiple law enforcement officers responded to the scene following a shooting report. When officers entered the home someone inside fired shot at the officers, and one of the deputies returned fire, authorities said.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation.
