Tuskegee University shooting – Multiple Law enforcement officials are responding to report of a shooting at Tuskegee University.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday during a homecoming event at Tuskegee University located on 1200 W Montgomery Rd, Tuskegee, AL. Authorities urge everyone to avoid the area.
A non-university individual was killed and several others, including students, were injured in a shooting. The university authorities released a statement saying:
“The parents of this individual have been notified,” the statement read. “Several others including Tuskegee University students were injured and are receiving treatment at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika and Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.”:
