Risa Louks obituary – 46-year-old Risa Louks and child, 9-year old Alex Louks has sadly passed away. Both mother and child were found deceased in a suspected murder-suicide in Amherst Township. Officers responded to the property Wednesday following report of shooting.
They found the bodies of Risa and her son with apparent gunshot wound. According to preliminary investigation, she shot her son Alex in the chest before attempting to set their home on fire and then shot herself.
Investigators are working to determine exactly what happened.
