Luke Whaley obituary – Police officers are currently investigating a student death at University of Mississippi. The Ole Miss student reportedly committed suicide on campus on Thursday night.
According to sources, The student jumped from the top of the southeast side of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium into the Manning Center parking lot.
The incident occurred after Ole Miss concluded a basketball game in the neighboring SJB Pavilion.
The school authorities released a statement which reads:
“Thursday evening, University Police responded to a report involving a student near Manning Way. The Coroner’s Office later confirmed the student had passed away. We are heartbroken at the sudden loss of this student, and we extend our condolences to their loved ones during this difficult time.”
