It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David A. Camp, age 57, of Princeton, Illinois. David passed away following a two-vehicle crash on Route 23 and North 32nd Road north, near Ottawa, Illinois, on Friday, November 29, 2024. He was transported to OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, where he was pronounced dead.
David was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. A lifelong resident of Princeton, he touched the lives of many through his warmth and generosity. Whether it was his commitment to his work, his love for outdoor activities, or his cherished role as a father, David’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
David is survived by his family who meant the world to him, and his friends who will forever remember his loyalty and kindness. His sudden passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will live on in the memories he created.
The crash that led to David’s passing is currently under investigation by the Illinois State Police Accident Reconstruction Team and the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office. Additional information will be made available after the conclusion of the investigation.
