It is with overwhelming sorrow that we share the passing of Caleb Delano Alexander on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, while he was visiting Sri Lanka. Caleb was a compassionate, selfless man who dedicated his life to helping others. He was always the first to offer assistance, whether it was financial support or his time, and his generosity knew no bounds.
Through his charity, Spirit Missions, Caleb made a profound impact on countless lives worldwide, helping children with cancer, orphans, and families in need. His dedication to charity work continued up until his passing, and he had recently shared a photo of himself preparing for his next trip to Uganda to aid orphaned children. His dreams were always centered around serving others, reflecting the deep love and care he had for those less fortunate.
Caleb was not just a philanthropist but also a beloved family member. He wore many hats in our family, and his absence has left an irreplaceable void. He was a son, brother, uncle, and friend, and his kindness, faith, and warmth will be forever missed.
Chantel Wijesekera organized a Gofundme to help ease financial cost to bring Caleb’s body back to Australia to lay him to rest near his family. Any contributions toward this effort are greatly appreciated.
