Active Shooting Incident in Vandergrift Leaves 4 Victims; Suspects on the Loose
VANDERGRIFT, PA — Authorities are responding to an active shooting situation in Vandergrift, where four people have been injured. Police are currently investigating the incident and urging the public to remain vigilant.
The shooting occurred in the area of Sycamore Street, where one of the suspects is reportedly cornered by law enforcement. Officers have confirmed that the suspects are both Black males, armed and believed to be driving a newer model white Ram 1500 pickup truck.
The victims’ conditions have not been released, but they are receiving medical attention. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or who sees anything suspicious to immediately call 911.
As of now, one suspect is being held up on Sycamore Street. Law enforcement is actively working to apprehend the second suspect.
