Michael Turnipseed Death-Obituary News: Michelle and Michael Turnipseed, 51 and 53, of Chetek, Wis., Identified in Chetek murder suicide
Michelle Turnipseed, 51, and her estranged husband, Michael Turnipseed, 53, were tragically found dead Sunday afternoon in an incident being investigated as a murder-suicide by the Barron County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a call at approximately 12:50 p.m. to a home just north of Chetek, Wis., after reports that a woman was found outside the residence unresponsive. Upon arrival, officers used a Bearcat vehicle to approach the home, where they discovered Michelle Turnipseed lying outside. She was pronounced dead at the scene from apparent stab wounds.
Inside the residence, Michael Turnipseed was found deceased, also from apparent stab wounds. The circumstances surrounding the deaths are under investigation, with officials treating the incident as a murder-suicide.
Michelle was known for her caring nature and devotion to her family, and Michael is remembered by friends and family for his quiet, reserved demeanor. The Barron County Sheriff’s Office continues to look into the tragic event.
