New Milford Car Accident Yesterday – It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that New Milford Public Schools mourns the loss of William “Will” Neeb, a Grade 11 student at New Milford High School. Will tragically passed away on the evening of December 16, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was years old.
Will was an exceptional student, known for his dedication to his studies and his commitment to excellence. As an honors student, he consistently strived for academic success and was highly regarded by his teachers and peers alike. In addition to his scholastic achievements, Will made a significant impact on the New Milford High School community through his involvement in extracurricular activities. He was a proud member of the Athletic Council, a two-year participant on the NMHS hockey team, and an All-State golfer.
Will was not only a talented athlete but also a kind-hearted, thoughtful young man whose presence brightened any room. He was well-known for his friendliness, his compassion for others, and his unwavering work ethic, both in and out of the classroom. Whether on the ice, the golf course, or among his friends, Will had a natural ability to make those around him feel valued and supported. He brought joy and light to everyone he met, and his positive attitude was a source of inspiration to his classmates.
Above all, Will’s family, friends, and community will remember him for his genuine kindness and his ability to lift others up. He had an infectious smile, a generous spirit, and a heart full of love for those around him. His tragic passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Will is survived by his loving family, friends, teammates, and teachers, all of whom were touched by his presence and who will carry his memory with them always.
