It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of David Modesto Trujillo, 45, of Pueblo, Colorado. David tragically lost his life on December 26, 2024, during the early morning hours, after sustaining a fatal gunshot wound in an incident at a residence in the 1100 Block of Egan Ave. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Coroner Investigator. An autopsy is scheduled as part of the ongoing investigation.
David was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Known for his kind heart and unwavering support for his family and community, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His sudden and tragic loss leaves a profound void in the lives of those who loved him.
David’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses and support his loved ones during this difficult time. His next-of-kin have been notified, and they appreciate all the thoughts, prayers, and support they have received from family, friends, and the community.
