It is with great sadness that we report the passing of 37-year-old Michael S. Porter, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash on the evening of Wednesday, December 25, 2024, on Dog River Bridge.
According to Mobile Police Department (MPD) officials, the incident occurred around 8 p.m. when Michael, riding in the southbound lane, tragically veered into the northbound lane and collided with a vehicle. Officers arrived on the scene and found Michael deceased.
Michael will be remembered by his family, friends, and community for his generous spirit, kind heart, and passion for life. While his time was cut short, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
